Notre histoire · Our story

Named after the women who fed us first.

Adéy is the Eritrean word for mother. We are two best friends of African origin who took a long time to get good at coffee — buying it, drinking it, arguing about it — and decided the name belonged to what we were building.

Bags first, roasted to order. A café of our own after that.
